Ian graduated in 1994 from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Penn. with a degree in Industrial Design and a focus in graphic design. After graduating, he worked freelance in Paris, France for two years and then returned to Washington, DC to start Studio Spark. Studio Spark has been in business for 10 years and has enjoyed the successes of many projects and has worked with a wide array of clients over the years, including Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, The World Bank, Greenpeace, the Wilderness Society and many more. Currently, Ian oversees all projects that come through the Studio and is integral to the Studio’s business development initiatives.
Erin graduated in 1998 from Miami University in Oxford, OH with a B.A. in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduating from school, she began working in the nonprofit sector focusing on online campaigns. Erin was part of a team that conceptualized and created Kaisernetwork, a health policy webcasting/news service, for the Kaiser Family Foundation. In addition, she worked with the American Association of Community Colleges for five plus years, managing the Association's web content and focusing her efforts on various web endeavors. Erin is currently a partner at Studio Spark. She provides editorial guidance on all projects and also acts as our Accounts Manager.
During his 16 years in the design field, Yuri has created print, branding and identity, environmental graphic, and web solutions for numerous high-profile projects such as the Obama '08 Campaign, Schering-Plough's National Headquarters Signage, and the Franklin Institute's lead donor recognition installation. Yuri's worked with a large number of organizations in the business, political institutional, government, and non-profit sectors, for such clients as the Educational Testing Service, 20th Century Fox, the Democratic National Committee, the World Bank, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Yuri is active in several organizations related to the design disciplines, including the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, the Philly Ad Club, and the University of the Arts Alumni Council. Currently, Yuri consults as art director for Studio Spark, helping shape the creative vision and character of many of our projects.
